A Testimony by Charles P. Mawungwa

Introduction

This testimony is a short summary of some of the lessons that God has taught me between 2007 and 2020 through dreams, visions and experiences. My lessons from God have followed a specific pattern. Each lesson starts with me facing a huge challenge that I am unable to overcome. When I am at the end of my wits, I get a dream, vision or experience where I am taught the spiritual-biblical principle of Christ that I must apply. I follow the instructions, and the challenge is immediately overcome.

Since this is a summary and a testimony at that, I will not share much scripture, so it is up to the reader to weigh the things written here against the absolute truths of the bible, and take that which you find useful.

After 13 years, I can safely say that our warfare against the devil is fought and won in the realm of the mind. It’s all about what we know and believe to be true about Christ that determines our state of life.

The weapons of our warfare therefore have mainly to do with mindsets.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (NET)

4 for the weapons of our warfare are not human weapons, but are made powerful by God for tearing down strongholds. We tear down arguments

5 and every arrogant obstacle that is raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to make it obey Christ.

1.) The Power of The Name of Jesus – 2007

In 2007 at the age of 22, I was lying in my bedroom one morning, talking to a relative of mine. As I finished talking to the relative, she turned to walk away, and as she did I saw a small man clinging to her back. This small man then jumped off her back before my eyes, ran towards me and jumped onto my bed. I was as awake as I am now. I felt paralysed from my head to toes and could not move. The man came and sat on top of me and began to strangle me. I couldn’t breathe and I couldn’t fight him.

In panic, I then shouted in my heart, “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus” and the man disappeared. The paralysis left and I got up. It was not a dream, it was not a vision. It was in broad daylight. I had just seen the name of Jesus at work. I din’t bind, I didn’t cast. I just called the name of Jesus.

Romans 10:13 (NKJV) 

13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Philippians 2:10 (NIV)

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

That night at around 2am, I woke up because I could hear someone was in the room. The man came and sat on me and strangled me again. I just called the name of Jesus, and he disappeared. This happened for three consecutive nights, and the man never returned. But though I had survived death, I could no longer walk properly because I was now experiencing excruciating pain in my legs. It would take 3 months of prayer and deliverance for me to get back to normal.

This would be the beginning of many woes, attacks and many lessons.

2.) Authority Over The Powers of Darkness-2009

I was facing a lot of supernatural attacks on my work and general life. There were so many different spiritual attacks and manifestations, and we were always fasting and praying and fasting and praying yet all the victories just seemed temporary. It was one thing after another. It was exhausting. One day, as I was reading the bible, I came across this scripture.

Luke 10:19 (NKJV) 

19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

I was in so much pain and I said to myself, “If the bible is true, and if this scripture is true, then why am I living as a victim.” I looked at many christians that I knew, and they seemed to be always struggling with witchcraft and various spiritual attacks in their life. Jesus said in that scripture, “Nothing shall by any means hurt you.” “Any means.” This includes witchcraft. 

We are praying and fasting always so why are we being hurt. Was Jesus lying. I wanted an answer, in fact I demanded an answer. If that one word of Christ can not be true for me, then the whole bible can not be true.

The Solution

After a few days, I was listening to Joel Osteen, and he was preaching about holding God accountable to his word. So I knelt down and prayed, God you said, “I have authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and upon all the powers of the enemy, so right now, I am trampling upon the scorpions and the serpents and all the powers of the enemy in my life.”

I prayed like that, quoting every item in mark 16, and declaring it as it is written. A few minutes later, I feel asleep and had a dream. In this dream, I heard myself pray that prayer. I saw all serpents and lizards that were surrounding me, being brought under my feet, and I would trample upon them until they were dust. In that dream, I asked God, “Why do these things always come after Christians”

He replied, “I direct these things towards my children, because they are the ones that I have given the power to destroy them.”

The next morning, I asked God, but why is it that I have been praying all this time and yet I never saw results. God said to me, “Authority is given to you. So it’s up to you to use it. There are three types of people in the church. Those who use Authority, those who abuse authority and those who don’t use authority. Many Christians do not use authority because they don’t know how to use it, or they don’t know they have it.”

I then had another dream that night, and in that dream God began to speak a parable, and I could see this parable as he spoke it.

He said, “A certain king had a child and he gave this child an inheritance of a field. When this child was small, the father would make sure the field was protected from the baboons, from the birds and from all the animals that would eat the products of this field. When the child was older, the father gave the child full control over the field and he now expected this child to protect the field from the animals.

But when the baboons came, instead of chasing them, the child called the father and cried, “the baboons are in my field, please send your servants to chase them away.” The Father was gracious and he sent his servants. They came and chased the baboons but some of the fruit had been eaten.

He said, “It is faster and better for the child to just learn to chase these animals by herself. And it is wiser for the child to build a fence around her field so that she doesn’t have to worry about them every hour.

I saw when the seed was placed in the field, the birds came. I saw when the shoots sprouted, the cattle came, I saw when the fruits came out, the baboons came.

God then said to me, “When you see these animals coming, they are a sign that your fruit and harvest in the spirit is growing.”

From that time, I began to experience victory over witchcraft. Whenever an attack would come, I would just pray Luke 10:17 over it and I would not even feel it. I never lived as a victim again, and from that point when I would dream of cattle, cats, dogs or whatever, they were no longer signs of struggle, but signs that God has just deposited a blessing for me in the spirit, and they can see it. Surely it is so.

3.) Why Pray for Your Enemies (2010)

Though now experiencing victory over attacks, I was still encountering many attacks. The Lord then gave me a list of people that were practising witchcraft in our family and asked me to either fast for three days, or pray for 15 days for each one of them. 

Starting with the relative on who’s back I had seen the small man that tried to kill me. 

We decided to go for the 15 days of praying for her. Praying for her sins to be forgiven, for God to bless her etc.

After that I never encountered the witchcraft attacks that I used to. It’s as if I had become immune to those attacks.

4.) Defeating The Giants of the Land-Leviathan (2010)

I was trying to breakthrough in my industry in the nation and on the global scene. I was now living in victory over witchcraft attacks but however, I still faced huge seemingly unsumountable mountains to climb in all my work.

I had a dream. In this dream I saw giant men that were standing over our city. They were so huge that their heads reached the clouds. They had set their feet on different parts of the city. There were several of them.

We were truly like ants before these giants of the land. I saw men climbing onto the bodies of these giants, with swords and weapons yet, their weapons could not even pierce their skin. It seemed like a hopeless battle. God says this concerning Leviathan.

Job 41:25-28 (ESV) 

25 When he raises himself up, the mighty are afraid; at the crashing they are beside themselves. 26 Though the sword reaches him, it does not avail, nor the spear, the dart, or the javelin. 27 He counts iron as straw, and bronze as rotten wood. 28 The arrow cannot make him flee; for him, sling stones are turned to stubble.

Then I saw two angels, they began to climb on to the body of this giant and reached his waist. They were holding swords in their hands. They seemed so tiny, compared to these giants. They were like insects. However they thrust their swords into the body of the giant. Firstly, I was surprised that their swords were able to pierce through the skin of the giant. 

But then I noticed a bigger surprise. Though the two angels were so tiny, and pierced him with their tiny sword, the giant fell to the ground dead.

The two angels began to speak to me about how to kill giants. 

They said, When you fight a giant, it is not the weapon that kills the giant, it is the power of God behind the weapon. You must first call upon the word of God before you strike, and the word of God will bring supernatural power to your weapon. Just as David did. His sling and stone was not powerful enough to kill Goliath in the way it did. But he called upon the word of God, and God’s power was in his weapon.

They said, Therefore, when you are praying against a giant of the Land you must first say, “The Lord is my refuge” and then attack. 

When I woke up, I opened the bible on my computer and searched the words, “The Lord is my refuge.” That’s when I found Psalms 91. I did not know about psalms 91 before this.

Psalms 91:9-13 (NIV) 

9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling,

10 no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;

12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

After this, the Lord would use me and my friend to successfully bring down certain giants in certain places.

5.) The Power of The Blood (2012)

I started going through days of deep gloom, feeling very heavy, and downcast. I felt like my prayers were going nowhere. I felt like I was in this thick black cloud. Even thinking was difficult. The world felt hopeless for some reason.

One morning as I was sleeping, someone walked into my room and sat by my bed. I began to hear prayers in my room, so I woke up and began to pray. What I did not realise at that time, is that I had not woken up physically, but my spirit is the one that had come out of my body. 

My spirit began to pray and say, “I sprinkle the blood of Jesus in this place, the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all unrighteousness and protects us from every curse”

I had never used the blood of Jesus in prayer before this moment because I did not believe in doing that. I had heard of pentecostals who always say, the blood, the blood when praying, but I don’t copy things that I don’t understand. I had never seen anywhere in the bible where someone called upon the blood of Jesus during prayer.

As my spirit prayed this prayer, I saw Jesus blood being sprinkled around the whole house. Then My spirit said, “I speak light in the name of Jesus“

And light began to come through the blood of Jesus. It was such bright light, which broke through and destroyed the darkness that was around me. 

I then ran back to my bed and that’s when I saw my body lying in bed, and realised that I was in the spirit. I then returned into my body but as I did,  I asked God and said, why is it that so many people pray this prayer and it doesn’t work.

He replied, “Unless my word becomes a reality to you, you cant see it’s manifestation in your life“

I understood in that moment that many times we read the word of God and it becomes a concept that we acknowledge, but not a reality that we believe. 

For example the bible says God is your Father. The creator of the universe is your father. But for many christians this is not a reality that they live by. It’s a concept. When faced with a challenge that needs a father, God is not the father that comes to your mind, nor does it feel like he can practically deal with those Fatherly issues. There are other father’s that are more real to you, more practical and those are the ones that come to mind. God remains just a father figure, but not your actual practical Father. 

But when you actively choose to meditate on how Christ related to God as his Father, and actively choose to enter into the reality of God as your practical, living father, His Fatherhood begins to manifest in your life, as it did in the life of Christ.

Anyway.

When the experience ended I then understood the scriptures that say:

Deuteronomy 12:23 (NIV) 

23 But be sure you do not eat the blood, because the blood is the life, and you must not eat the life with the meat

Therefore the blood of Christ is his life. Hence it says…

John 1:4 (NIV) 

4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

That’s why I saw light coming out of his blood. His blood is his human life. That next day I was so uplifted, so at peace and just moved in so much grace, so much light and so much joy.

From that time I learnt that when praying for situations of darkness that are a result of curses or sins, I would just say, 

“I sprinkle the blood of Jesus upon this person/place, the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all unrighteousness, the blood that protects us from every curse. I speak light to this person/place.“

And it works.

6.) How Jehovah Jireh Works (2013)

At the end of 2013, I received a breakthrough in a project I was working on. I received two huge funding opportunities. But half way through the project, the funding from both sides was blocked by a third party.

I needed to feed and transport 25 people everyday. I had negotiated some deals but I still needed a minimum of US$120 cash a day.

When the funding was blocked, I was left with no access to money at all, but I needed to finish the week. I was left with 50 cents. That morning, I was wondering what I was going to do. I was praying to God saying please, “Can you open the doors for finance so that I can get the money that I need.”

The Holy Spirit began to teach me and said, “You need to know about Jehovah Jireh. When Jesus fed the 5000 with five loaves and two fish, he did it to reveal the name of Jehovah Jireh.”

He said, “When many Christians have a $10 000 problem. They think that Jehovah Jireh means God will provide them with the $10 000. So they pray saying God please give me the $10 000 that I need. That is not it.”

He said, “Jehovah Jireh means that God himself is enough. If you have a $10 000 problem, and God gives you $1 000, then $1 000 plus God is enough.”

He said, “This was the understanding that Jesus walked in. So when a situation arose that needed 5000 loaves of bread, yet He was only given five loaves. He understood that God had provided him with 5 loaves because those five loaves were enough to feed the people. So he thanked God for what he had been given and gave it to the people. And the people ate and were filled.”

He said, “God has given you 50cents this morning because 50 cents is all you need today. Thank God for the 50 cents that he has given you and your 50 cents plus God will be enough.”

So I called everyone and said, we are going ahead as planned. I went to a secluded place with my 50 cents and said, Thank you Lord for this money that you have given me. I know it will be enough.

I took off and for sure, all our needs were met, the fuel, the food, everything and I remained with another 50 cents when I returned home that day. The whole week was like that. I would go and thank God with whatever I had that morning, and God would take care of the rest.

I have used this principle to acquire everything I have. When I know that it is God’s time and will for me to acquire something. I don’t care how much it costs. I know the money that I have will be enough.

Many Christians have entered seasons where God has told them that it’s time to receive certain blessings, yet they are waiting for the money to be enough. They keep asking God, “please give me $5000 for this, please give me $10 000 for that .” Just go ahead and thank God for the money you have, and start pursuing your goal. You will see that God will change the environment to make it fit your budget.

There was even a time when my wife and I had to travel to a far country. I only had $600 which was barely enough to buy a flight ticket for one person. But the policies and economy of the country was shifted that month, allowing me to buy two tickets for $300 each. After we bought the tickets, polices were changed back. 

I have many practical examples of how this has worked for me, but This is a summary.

7.) The Use of Fire (2015)

I have always heard people call for fire during prayers and deliverance sessions but this is something I never actually practiced because, I did not understand it and I had not seen anyone in the bible doing it.

When. I began to speak in tongues, in 2015, It came with an interesting intensification of the voice of God. That very day, that I started to speak in tongues, The Holy Spirit led me to go to visit a certain church. I went to that church and entered the prayer room. The Lord began to direct me on issues that I had to pray for regarding the church and regarding the people in the prayer room.

During that time the Holy Spirit then pointed me to two people who were in the prayer room and said, they were satanists. They attend the prayer room in order to fight believers.

I left and went home nicely. That night I woke up in the middle of the night to see a man standing by my side. He wore what seemed like a suit. He was extremely powerful. His power was so intense. He was not an angel, but he did not feel like a normal human being. I don’t know what he was. 

As I opened my eyes to see this man, He was holding a pillow. Before I could even process what was going on in my room, he then placed the pillow over my head to suffocate me. But I felt nothing. I could breathe pretty well, even with the pillow over my head.

After a few seconds he disappeared. Then I saw the two girls who had been in that church. The two satanists. They were standing at the edge of my bed doing some enchantments. I fell into a state of deep sleep and began to have nightmares. The next day, I woke up in the middle of the night to see the same man again. He placed the pillow over my head to try and suffocate me but it did not work and he disappeared after a few seconds.

The next day, I then had a dream about the use of fire.

Dream

In the dream I was walking with someone, when a witchdoctor came and began to challenge us. He then did his enchantments and attacked the person I was walking with.

He was then boasting and wanted to attack me also with his enchantments. Jesus said, in my name you shall cast out demons. But this man was not a demon. What do I cast him out of. He was a human spirit. I can’t cast out a human spirit.

So the Holy Spirit then told me to use fire.

So he came towards me to attack me and for the first time, I said, “Fire in the name of Jesus.” When I said that, he felt so much pain inside his body that he could not continue walking. It lasted for a few seconds, but now he was angry.

He came again, and I said, “Fire in the name of Jesus.” I kept saying that until he just could not handle the pain anymore and he ran away. The fire of the Holy Spirit subdued him.

The dream ended. I woke up. When I woke up, I realised that the Man who had been trying to suffocate me was back with his two satanist ladies. He was not yet in the house. He was still outside and he entered. I got up from bed and walked towards the lounge.

This was happening in the spirit but I did not realise it at the time. As far as I was concerned, I was actually walking in the house. When. He came he tried to attack me, and I just did what I had dreamt. I said “fire in the name of Jesus” “fire! Fire! Fire!” The fire was crushing him until he fled.

I never saw him again.

8.) Dealing With Spirits of the Dead (2015)

A few weeks after the fire encounter I had another experience. I woke up to see my bed surrounded by fire. Even my house was surrounded by fire. In the distance, in the street I could somehow see a woman who was a witch and her two children that she was teaching witchcraft.

They wanted to come but they could not pass through the fire. I felt so sorry for this woman who was under the bondage of witchcraft. She could have been sleeping in her house peacefully.

As I turned onto my bed I was shocked to see a woman standing on my bed. How did she get through the fire. She was right next to me.

In panic I said, “Get out in the name of Jesus”  She then turned from my bed to the window and then turned and looked at me. I said, “I cast you out of this house in the name of Jesus” She looked at me with confusion on her face.

I could tell that she was not a demon but a human spirit. I was about to call fire when The Holy Spirit spoke from inside me and said, “The Spirits of the dead need to be told where to go, otherwise they don’t know where to go.”

I then remembered suddenly that people who practise witchcraft will tend to go to the grave of a dead person and direct that person to go to a specific person.

I then said to her, “I command you in the name of Jesus to leave this place and go to the place that god has assigned for the spirits of the dead.”

When I said that, she immediately left my room, and I saw her spirit taken into a cloud with other spirits of the dead to a place that I don’t know.

9.) Unmasking fallen Angels- Jesus is Lord (2016)

By this time the Lord had taught me a lot about fallen angels and how they are working in the churches today. I had also had many experiences between 2007 and 2016, and would have more afterwards.

However, in 2016 I had an experience that makes it easier to share because it contained a direct lesson on the subject.

I was sleeping and I began to get a sense of falling. I wanted to wake up but I could feel myself falling and falling. I tried to get up but I could not. Then I had a voice singing a song. The lyrics of the song said something along the lines of, ‘He takes us from our problems and places us into comfort.”

I then heard the voice that was singing saying,”Hold on to my voice, sing the song.” I then joined and began to sing the song. As I sang, I began to be lifted up, and up until I got up and stood next to my Bed. At this time I thought I had actually physically woken up. I was not aware that I was standing in the spirit, outside of my body.

Paul speaks of this here:

2 Corinthians 12:2 (NIV) 

2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows.

So, at this time I did not know that I was out of the body and in the spirit. Anyways, as I stood in the room, I could sense the power of the angel that had helped me. He was incredibly powerful that the whole house was filled with his presence.

I then walked to the corridor near the kitchen where he was and he told me that he had come to help me in my work and in my ministry. The Holy Spirit then spoke from within me and said, “Ask him if Jesus is his Lord. In the spirit realm, a spirit can not lie and say Jesus is my Lord, if he does not serve Jesus.”

So I asked him and said, “Do you serve Jesus or Satan.” He then laughed and said, “Neither. I just move around helping people.” I then suddenly grabbed his arm and said, “Any person who does not submit to the authority of Jesus is a rebel. I rebuke you in the name of Jesus.”

When I said that, he was cast out away from me. I then returned to my bed.

I now had seen the practical application of this scripture:

1 Corinthians 12:1-3 (NKJV) 

1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: 2 You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led. 3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

In verse 1, it says, concerning Spiritual Gifts. In your bible you will notice that the word ‘gifts’ is in italics. It was added by the translators and is not in the original text. He says, concerning the spirituals, or the spirits.

In the spirit, only those spirits that have the spirit of God can say, “Jesus is Lord.” Outside of the spirit however, people can say whatever they want.

10.)  How Spirits Place Christians in Bondage(2018)

In 2007, I accompanied someone who was going to be prayed for by a prophet. Whilst we were there we discovered that this person was actually a false prophet. That night when I slept at his house, I had a dream where a woman came and kissed me.

It was disturbing. I prayed and rebuked it. But over the years, this thing would some how return. It would go away for months, or for a year but at times I would just get a dream of this woman coming and kissing me. And when that happens I would experience a lot of problems around me. The dreams were not frequent and would usually last a few seconds, but that was enough. But it shouldn’t have been happening at all.

When I realised that I was somehow not finding lasting victory over this issue, I asked someone to pray for me. They did and it went away. But after some months it returned. 

What was going on?

I had a dream.

In this dream I was in a corridor and I had a boxing glove. I was surrounded by many evil spirits. I started punching these spirits hard and with one blow I would send each to the ground. I did this until there were three spirits left that were standing in a distance away from me. Two of them looked like women. The rest of the spirit were outside the house in fear.

 One of the three spirits who were left inside, who looked like a woman said to the other two, “Do not worry, I am going to seduce him. If he falls for me, even once, he will not have power to strike me with his glove. And then I will open the door for you to attack him.”

When I woke up, the Holy Spirit began to teach me about Holiness. He said, “When God asks you to be Holy, he is not saying it for his sake but for yours. When he says do not worry, do not be anxious, do not look at a woman lustfully, do not be angry with your brother. These things are given for your sake not his,”

The Holy Spirt then gave me the revelation of how demons put Christians under bondage. I then understood that what happens at night is a reflection of a war that has been fought during the day – In the mind. I understood what the dream was saying and what the Holy Spirit was teaching me.

You see, Luke 10:17 Jesus said he had given us authority over all the powers of the enemy. However, Romans 6 shows us that we can unwittingly surrender our authority to demons when we obey them.

Romans 6:15-16 (NKJV) 

15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 

16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?

When we present ourselves to obey a particular spirit, we become a slave to that spirit. Jesus said, why do you call me Lord, Lord and yet you do not do what I say. When Jesus has given a word concerning a matter. Your obedience to his word is a declaration that Jesus is lord.

However, if another person or spirit comes with a word that contradicts what Jesus has said, and you knowingly and willingly obey the contradictory word, you have by that action declared that person and spirit as Lord over your life.

This is how many Christians have entered into bondage to demons. And they find themselves with spirits that they ‘can’t’ cast out of their own lives.

What I had seen in my dream was a gateway spirit. A gateway spirit that I would have surrendered to for just a few seconds during the day, and then move on. It would come as an unclean thought. And on days that I would entertain that unclean thought, whether for a minute or ten minutes. That night I would dream of a woman kissing me. And I would receive an attack in my work.

I began to notice the trend. 

The Holy Spirit then revealed to me that day, that these gateway spirits do not come with overt sins. They come with ‘justifiable’, internal sins such as “Bitterness, Anxiety, lust, pride, jealousy, envy, hatred, fear, coveting.”

Every thought that does not uphold the love and faith of Jesus Christ comes from the evil one. Negative thoughts can come into your mind, but you do not have to accept them or allow them to determine your emotions, mindsets or actions. When a demon places a word of thought into your mind, and you receive and accept it for however long that you do. By agreeing to these thoughts, you are also agreeing the spirit behind them. By obeying these thoughts, you are obeying the spirit behind them.

You are now a servant to that spirit for that time. This spirit now gives permission to other more wicked spirits to attack you in the areas that Satan wants to attack you. And you won’t be able to see the connection. It’s because sometimes, the area that opens the door, is different from the area of attack.

Let me give an example:

You are running a mine, and the devil wants to attack it. The devil knows people who really get to you. Maybe it’s a relative who practises witchcraft, an abusive boss or parent, a bad spouse. There is that person who just knows how to push your buttons.

The devil brings that person to come and say things that are very hurtful to you. It’s painful. Whilst you are weak and in pain, a gateway spirit comes with thoughts of hatred and bitterness towards that person. There is a certain comfort you feel in wishing bad things for that person. 

You sit for hours brooding over that person. It starts with a single thought, “But why is this person so wicked” and then it gets deeper and deeper. As you give yourself to that spirit of bitterness your have unwittingly surrendered authority to it. And during that time, this spirit of bitterness, which now has permission to work in your life, grants it’s own permission to the spirit that wants to fight against your mining plans.

The next day you wake up and you are fine. No longer bitter. But a week later, everything starts collapsing at your mine. The devil came to tempt Jesus when he was finishing  his fast. Many times when we give ourselves to fast and pray for our missions, that’s when these spirits come. 

If you learn to bring every thought into subjection to Christ, if you learn to entertain and obey only those thoughts that are in line with the love and faith of Jesus, you will never be in bondage to devils. 

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (ESV) 

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 

5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,

It’s a vicious cycle: You pray, God answers, Satan Comes, you give him permission, he destroys everything. You pray again.

Guard your heart- your mind

Proverbs 4:23-27 (NIV) 

23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

24 Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.

25 Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.

26 Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.

27 Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.

Ephesians 6:13 (NIV) 

13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

1 Peter 5:8-9 (NKJV) 

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world

When we do fall for these spirits and are now in bondage. That’s when we end up needing deliverance from other men of God. But if you learn to guard your mind, and whenever you notice that you have fallen to the spirit of bitterness, anxiety, fear, depression, lust or whatever. Immediately repent, confess before God and the blood of Jesus will immediately restore your authority.

That is how we walk in the light.

1 John 1:7-10 (NIV) 

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

The word confess means to say the same. So if I say, “Unforgiveness is wrong, I am wrong to practice it.” I am saying the same thing about unforgiveness as Jesus did. I am confessing. I am rejecting the word of the devil and accepting and declaring the word of Christ. The sooner you do it the better.

The Lord once said to me, “A snake is easier to kill when it is still a baby, If you wait for it to grow, it becomes more difficult for you to kill.”

11.)  Ask The Father (2018)

In 2017 I began to have dreams of being attacked by Lions. The lions would leap at me, and one dream ended with a lion about to devour my head. After each dream, in the next few days, my newborn son or my wife would get suddenly and seriously ill that we would sometimes end up rushing to the hospital.

On one night, my wife was extremely ill. I prayed for her, but the more I would pray the worse she would get. It was disturbing. I walked away from the bedroom and left her in pain. I began to talk to God.

I said, “Father, I know you have taught me so many things over the years. I have tried to cast, I have tried to use authority, I have tried all that I know. Clearly I am missing something. But right now, I am, tired, I am exhausted.

I know you have given me authority, But I am clearly getting something wrong. So right now, I am asking you as My Father. Heal her and put An end to this whole Lion Attacks”

Immediately my spirit began to pray and I joined my spirit in prayer for about 10 minutes. The Lord opened my eyes to understand why the Lion attacks were, and when I walked back into the room my wife was now fine. 

A lion represents a spirit that works through fear. So my son would suddenly get what looks like a life threatening condition, you sense so much fear engulfing you. And then you begin to make decisions out of fear and not out of faith. Every one of those decisions you make out of fear leads to loss of finance and other things.

The moment I understood that, I dreamt of a Lion coming to attack me, but I was now holding;ding a spear and I could I could subdue it with my spear.

In real life, when an event happens and I sense the fear coming, I stop find peace and pray. I don’t act out of fear. And you find that what seemed like a big problem, changes and it turns out to be nothing.

A year later I was under pressure with certain people that wanted me to work on something that I did not have the time to do. I was about to feel depression coming, and the Holy Spirit said, “Why are you acting as though you do not have a father in heaven.”

So I told my Father exactly what I wanted to happen. Immediately I said, “Father, I am asking you make this person do this and that, and make those other people tell this other person to do this and that. And when that happens, I want so and so to say this and that”

And that’s how it happens. Sometimes we can carry so much burden on our shoulders and forget that we have a Father in heaven that we can just ask.

12.) Watch Who you Praise (2019)

I had a dream where I was flying over a game park that had wild animals. I could see some men walking among the animals. However, I was so afraid of these animals. I could hear myself talk about how dangerous these animals were. The more I spoke about how dangerous these animals were, the lower I began to fly and the more that these animals began to come after me to try and catch me.

The Lord then said to me, “The more you praise and talk about how great and powerful these animals are, the more power you give them. Watch what you say.”

When I woke up, I realised what it was about. There are many conversations that I would get into where we would talk about people that were very powerful. Some are practising witchcraft, some are magicians, some are false prophets. I know this, but I would still talk about how formidable and how powerful they are in their falseness.

But praise, is one of the greatest forms of worship, as is written here:

Revelation 13:4 (ESV) 

4 And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?”

It’s easy to get caught up in conversations of how powerful certain witch doctors are, and how powerful witchcraft is, how Christians can not defeat them, and how great these false prophets are, how no one can compete with them. Such praise empowers the enemy.

13.) Even Demons are Your Servants (2020)

In February 2020, the Lord taught me a principle that changed my life forever.  It was simple, basic but so powerful, that it changed my spiritual position and gave me a level of victory that was far beyond what I had experienced before. 

THE DREAM

In February 2020, I had a dream. In this dream we were standing with a group of brethren in a forest. A group of fierce lions then began to come attack us. We then ran and hid from the Lions such that they could not catch us.

Then a herd of large fierce elephants saw us and began to come after us. So we began to run, and there was a way of escape just ahead. But as we were running, The Lord began to talk to me.

He said, “The way you respond to an attack in a dream, is a reflection of the way that you are praying in relation to your issues. When you dream of yourself running away from an enemy, it’s a reflection of the way that you are praying. “

I then saw a vision of certain Brother that I pray with. The Holy Spirit then said to me, “There is a teaching that I have given him in relation to that“

That brother then responded in the vision and said, “When I see these things, I dont even fight them, I just fly“

The dream then ended.

This was not the first time I had dreamt of elephants. In February 2019, I had  two dreams in which I was attacked by a group of elephants and in both dreams I could not fight, defeat or even escape them.

The Next Day

The next day I called that brother and said, come tell me what the Lord has taught you in relation to dealing with evil Spirits and in relation to flying. He came to my house and he shared what the Lord had taught him on the subject.

The lesson

This is what I learnt. When God created the birds, he said, let the birds fly.

1. However, we have birds that don’t fly even up to today. Ostrich and chicken.

2. Then we have birds that fly, by flapping their wings. They use a lot of energy to flap their wings and end up flying. They fly, but it’s a lot of work.

3. Then you have the eagle that soars. It flies above all the other birds, yet it does not do any work. It just spreads it’s wings and soars without even working.

This is comparable to different Christians.

a) We have Christians that don’t fly. They are living as victims of spiritual attacks even though Jesus has said, I have given you authority over all the powers of the enemy. Yet they live as victims. 

These are like the ostrich and chicken.

b) Then you have the Christians who fly. They experience victory over the enemy, but it’s a lot of work. They have to flap their wings and work hard and they experience victory over the enemy.

They have victory over evil Spirit, but it comes with a lot of fasting, prayer casting and declarations.

This is the level that I was operating in.

3. Then we have the third level of Christians that are like eagle. They are so far above, that they don’t even have to flap their wings. They just soar and the air does all the work.

These Christians, move in the highest dimension of authority. They don’t even have to exercise any effort to move in victory over evil spirits.

So my next question was, how do I become an eagle? I have been flapping my wings to fly, how do I soar?

The Revelation

This is the revelation I leant.

In order to become an eagle, you need to realize that when the Bible says, all things are yours it means all things are yours.

1 Corinthians 3:21-23 (WEB)

21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, 

22 whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours,

23 and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s. 

Romans 8:32 (WEB) 

He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things? 

The next point was, God owns everything, and uses everything to serve his purpose. That includes Satan and all evil spirits. God is free to use even Satan and evil spirits to serve his purpose. So when scripture says all things are yours, it also includes evil spirits. They are your servants. They are not equal to you. They are servants to you.

And I suddenly realized that this was powerful. You see God gave Adam dominion over all creatures, Dogs, Cows, Lions, cattle, bees, elephants, cats etc. Adam did not fear dogs or lions because he understood that he was their master.

When God is showing these spirits in animal forms in my dreams, it’s to show me that I am their master. That’s what it means to have authority over them, I am a master and they are my servants.

So immediately, I changed accepted this reality and and received it into my spirit. I did this by just going quiet and meditating over the idea that I am a master to evil spirits, they are servants. I then accept it as a reality to live by.

Many times we receive something into our minds, but not into our spirit , it remains a concept to us but not a reality that we live by. My fellow brother, Gabriel once said to me. You know that a concept is now in your spirit, when it’s something you can think of in your dream.

When a principle is not yet a reality in your spirit, when you have dreams, it will never occur to you

THE RESULT

That very night I went to sleep and I had a dream.

I saw myself in a field surrounded by hundreds of giant  angry elephants. In front of me was an elephant, and I was holding it’s trunk. But I realized that I was now able to rule over and control the elephants. I began to direct the engry elephants to attack one another, and they did.

I directed one of the angry elephants to come and attack the one that was standing in front of me. This giant elephant in front of me began to beg me in fear of his other angry elephants that I had directed to attack him”

He said, “Master  master please reverse this, please reverse this master. Master please”

The dream ended. I had never experienced that level of authority in a dream. The moment, I realised that I was their master, they themselves began to treat and see me as their master.

Conclusion

These are some of the lessons I have leant over the years. I pray by the grace of God to be able to share other lessons I have received, which I could not place within this testimony.
