For the past 2500 years, many have come up with different interpretations for Daniel 9:24-27. Much of what I am going to present is therefore not new. However, I myself have struggled with this prophecy for the past 12 years. I have read just about every popular interpretation out there, but still something has always been missing. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it until last week.
SATAN’S SEAT/ SATANS THRONE
Jesus explains…
Revelation 13:2 (NRSV) And the beast that I saw was like a leopard, its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. And the dragon gave it his power and his throne and great authority.
THE REVELATION.
Revelation 4:1 (NKJV) After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”
Daniel 2:44-45 (WEB)
44 “In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, nor will its sovereignty be left to another people; but it will break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it will stand forever.

A lot of people read Daniel and Revelation and when they see all these beasts and horns they shudder. What’s all this about? People have made the assumption that a nation or king that is seen as a beast, is somewhat more wicked than the rest. It’s not about being the most evil person. It’s about how they relate to Israel and the Christ. None of the scriptures in the bible will ever make sense until we see how Jesus Christ fits in to it.
The book of Revelation is the only book in the bible that is directly written by Jesus Christ; John is a mere scribe in the same way that Baruch was a scribe for Jeremiah.
Several years ago, I was speaking to someone about false prophets. I said to them, I believe the Lord showed me that so and so was a false prophet.
The person then said to me, ‘well, whether or not he is a false prophet it doesn’t matter because Jesus gets the glory at the end.’ He said, ‘He heals people and delivers people from problems in the name of Jesus and when its all done and over he says, give glory to Jesus for your miracle. so at the end of the day, the person who is healed and helped thanks Jesus and worships him more. So, whether or not the power was not of God it does not matter, because Jesus is glorified.’ He said, ‘If I get healed of cancer and I thank Jesus for my healing, and worship him even more then whats wrong.’ Continue reading “The Sin of Jeroboam”
A lot of people have a big problem trying to tell the difference between teachings of God versus teachings of Satan.
Jesus gives one very clear way to identify Satan’s teaching.
