Noah, The Dove & The Holy Spirit

There is a story that I always knew was significant, but did not understand the meaning until this morning, when the Holy Spirit revealed it to me .

Its the significance of Noah sending the dove three times to see whether the ground had dried up. But first, let me give some background, share the scriptures, then the explanation.

The Brazen Serpent

What is the significance of the bronze snake that was raised by Moses in the wilderness. Do serpents represent healing? It represented the sin/ abomination/ curse that Jesus the Son of God would have to carry.

The snake is not used in the bible to resemble healing. Though it is used in Greek mythology to represent healing, this is not so, in the bible.

I am going to explain the typology of the serpent in the wildness and what it means.

 John 3:14-15 (NET)

14 Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,

15 so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.”

Melchizedek vs Christ

Introduction

Melchizedek is certainly one of the most mysterious figures of the bible. While some have concluded that he is a Christophany, or appearance of Jesus before the incarnation, others feel it does not matter which ever way. The concept of our salvation is based on the identity of Jesus as Christ the Lord and Son of God.

If we believe that Melchizedek is Jesus Christ, then inadvertently, when we worship Jesus Christ, we are at the same time worshipping Melchizedek.

Just as those who believe that the Angel of the Lord is Jesus Christ, what that means is that when they worship Jesus, by extension, they are also worshipping the Angel of the Lord.

If you are wrong in your understanding of who Christ is, it may ultimately affect certain areas of your faith, or serve as basis to other more dangerous doctrines.

The Seven Mountains of The Lamb

Introduction

The devil’s kingdom is designed to copy and challenge the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. Within the book of revelation, we can never fully understand the symbolism of the dragon, beast and harlot until we understand the revelation of the father, the son and the church.

In Revelation 17, we are told that the woman Great Babylon sits upon a seven headed beast and the seven heads represent seven mountains which are also seven kings.

In order to fully understand the Seven Mountains of the Beast, we need to first look at the seven mountains of the Lamb.

THE ANGEL OF THE LORD

INTRODUCTION

As we read throughout the Old Testament, there is a rather mysterious figure who appears first in the life of Abraham and continues to lead him and his descendants within their Messianic destiny. This figure is known as The Angel of the LORD and he speaks as God himself. As a result people have come to the conclusion that he is either Jesus, The Holy Spirit or part of the God head. But careful study of the scriptures and with the revelation of the apostles, we find that the angel of The LORD is not Jesus or part of the Godhead. The angel of the LORD is just an angel. In fact they are many angels. This teaching was prepared to teach on why the angel of the Lord is not Jesus, and explain how he speaks as God himself. Let’s talk scriptures.

The Four Rivers of Eden

Introduction

When we read the book of Genesis we see that there was one river that entered the garden in order to water it, but then, while inside the garden, that river would be split into the heads of four rivers. These four rivers would then leave the garden to water four major places on earth. Continue reading “The Four Rivers of Eden”

The Tabernacle of Moses and Your Body Part2

The Inner Man

So the bible has told us that we have the inner man who does not perish and the outer man who perishes. Obviously, the inner man is housed inside the outward man. This inner Man is also metaphorically called the heart. And is reflective of the Inner Court of the temple where God’s presence was enthroned.

The Tabernacle of Moses and your Body Part 1

When on Mt Sinai, Moses was given two tablets of stone that contained the 10 words that God had spoken in the hearing of all the people. These ten words are later referred to as the 10 commandments. God calls these 10 commandments, the words of the testimony, or the covenant. covenant and testimony, mean the same thing.
